TLL Master Language Learner Interviews

I want to take a few moments to describe what I hope will be the TLL Master Language Learner Interviews. I believe their is much to be learned from the stories of others and mastering a second (or third or fourth) is no different. My hope is to interview successful language learners, polyglots, researchers and educators in order to glean practical insights into this language learning journey. So far the show is just a concept. I have a whole list of people I want to interview - some big names and lot of people just like you and me - ordinary language learners who have successfully mastered another language. How did they do it? What methods and techniques did they use? Who did they learn from? These are just some of the questions I hope to be able to explore with these interviews. I am hoping to complete 2-3 interviews per month, but we will see how it goes. Do you know someone who was a successful language learner?
